Two places, two founders, one home: Rotkreuz. We belong here — for us, the neighbourhood is a neighbourhood, not a target group. And of course our dogs, who have been part of it from the very beginning.

However good a concept is – it is carried by the people behind it every single day. Five people who give Rotkreuz a piece of Malea & Limón, day in, day out – among them Jerome, our head chef and, in his own words, “the true-born Rotkreuzer”.

Alex Burth
Co-Founder & Restaurateur
A trained chef who fell in love with hospitality and everything around it – from construction and operations to procurement. Career stops include deputy managing director at ROK Gastro AG, plus Red Bull and the Pointbreak Group, and co-founding Taco Factory GmbH. Certified event manager with a Swiss innkeeper licence (Wirtepatent).
Joël Humbel
Co-Founder & Creative Mind
A trained print media specialist and art director with a flair for digital marketing, concept design and communication. Certified media technician HF, with roles at richbell GmbH and OANA AG, and co-founder of the sustainable brand makoi.
